The position involves direct interaction with customers coming into our shop as well as on the phone and via email.
We are looking for someone with an interest in the print industry, a desire to learn new things and great customer service skills.
Print shop experience is required.
Duties of the Customer Service Representative/Digital Printing Specialist candidate will include:
Manage projects that involve a wide range of high-quality printing and communication services.
Answering the phone.
Providing detailed estimates/quotes to customers.
Manage incoming emails.
Engaging with customers on all levels.
Responding to customer requests and providing updates on progress of jobs to customers.
Review job specification from work orders and ensure that client files are accurate to produce jobs.
Responsible for the use of digital copiers/presses to setup and produce customer jobs.
Operate copiers/printers and finishing equipment.
Includes cutting flyers/business cards, processing mailers, binding books, folding brochures, padding notepads, etc.
Working with and preparing PDF files.
Preparing/packaging and shipping completed jobs.
Maintain an orderly work area.
The successful candidate will:
Be able to work independently and be able to multi-task/handle several client jobs at the same time.
Experience with Fiery Command WorkStation is preferred.
Experience with print shop finishing equipment is preferred.
(Cutting, Folding, Padding, etc.
) Experience with Xerox or Konica is preferred.
FedEx Office, Staples Print/Copy Center, UPS Store Experience Very Helpful.
