The ideal candidate will be providing a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness.
Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc.
Pursue legal research, prepare for trial, maintain case files, etc.
Locate and develop case relevant information.
Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence.
Assist in answering and directing phone calls.
Monitor deadlines and assist in calendar management.
Requirements and skills Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
Have a positive and collaborative approach to working with clients, colleagues, and other organizations from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
Have a demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
Computer literacy Ability to manage multiple tasks and in a fast-paced environment High school Diploma

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
