Hours:
Full Time:
Monday - Friday:
8am - 4pm, Saturdays:
8am - 2pm.
Front Desk Receptionist:
Provide first class treatment to all our guests.
Our receptionists must be highly personable and enjoy customer interaction.
Our receptionists will handle check in's and out of our clients' pets for various services.
Great verbal communication skills and pleasant upbeat phone personality is a must.
Multi-tasking and prioritizing a heavy workload of phones and walk in traffic.
Responsibilities and duties:
Answering phones with a smile Opening doors for clients/guests Making appointments for daycare, boarding, & grooming Processing paperwork for all guests Giving tours to potential clients, presenting contracts and up selling amenities Handling money and payment processing Keeping front office clean and welcoming Cleaning up after pets when necessary Printing of boarding contract forms, employee application forms and run cards.
Checking of voice mail messages daily and returning calls and/or handling messages as per voice mail message.
Printing of all reports for upcoming day for arrivals and departures.
Managing incoming/outgoing mail in accordance with organizational procedures.
Following - up call backs on departures.
Receiving shipments, counting of product and signing off on packing slips.
Maintaining stock of brochures.
Checking run cards for accuracy of services wanted upon arrival, including counting of medications.
To promote Southern Oasis Bed & Bark Pet Resort with a positive attitude, smile, warm greeting and a passion to delight the customer.
Scheduling and managing transportation of pets.
Maintaining an inventory of office stationery and office incidental supplies.
Basic cleaning duties to provide a clean and fresh environment for pets and staff Performing other duties as assigned Essential qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Preferred 1 year management experience Preferred Desirable qualifications Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written directions Ability to work with minimal supervision Passion for pets and dedication to their safety and well being Excellent communication skills, writing skills with the ability to compose posts free of grammatical errors.
Be creative Previous experience in professional Pet Care Service industry Essential qualities or behaviors Competency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite, and Google.
Excellent phone and communication skills Ability to comfortably handle cats and various size and breed of dogs Detail oriented Ability to multi-task Passionate about customer service Must be a Team player Successful applicants must be mature, good communicators, and be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of animal body language as well as be able to follow directions carefully.
Previous pet experience is preferred.
Previous customer service is mandatory.
