Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following procedures - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Perform basic laboratory tasks such as mixing materials and pouring models - Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation Requirements:
- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program - Knowledge of dental systems and procedures - Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology - Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care - Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus - Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix software is preferred - Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Note:
