We are hiring for this position as soon as possible.
The candidate should have a high school diploma, at least one year of medical receptionist experience and can demonstrate the following:
Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling Notifying providers of patient arrivals Collecting patient co-pays and deductibles Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records Verifying insurance and completing referrals Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders Other duties as assigned The candidate should be familiar with and able to do the following:
HIPAA EHR - Patient Fusion, MD Collab or ECW a plus Basic Medical Terminology Understand insurances (State vs.
Commercial) Strong organizational skills.
Strong multi-tasking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.
Able to work collectively with administration and staff.
This position requires the front desk receptionist to complete EKGs and vital checks for some patients, using the proper medical equipment.
It is not required that the candidate be proficient in this area, we will train.
