Vehicle Description This stunning 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 clone! This fantastic clone started as an F-85 with a rocket 350 V8 and was transformed into this beautiful 442 clone.
This was an older frame-off restoration with no expense spared.
And a 2017 frame-on to include new paint and motor rebuild.
2020 Tremec TKO 5 speed Transmission kit from American Powertrain installed.
The 455 cu-in was completely rebuilt with a 0.
30 bore with W-30 aluminum intake manifold, 30 heads, New Rochester quadra-jet carburetor and W-30 red inner fender wells.
The suspension was removed and replaced with a full suspension including, front and rear sway bars, tubular upper and lower control arms with poly urethane bushings, upper and lower adjustable trailing arms, Eibach springs, adjustable shocks.
Ten bolt posi rear with 3:
40 gears, 4-wheel disc brakes, gas tank and Flow Master exhaust.
Staggered DUB wheels with (20 front 22 rear) give this 442 clone a real aggressive stance and excellent handling.
The interior is period correct with bucket seats, center console-mounted manifold vacuum gauge, tilt wheel power steering and brakes, AC (blows cold), and a aftermarket classic look AM/FM/Bluetooth with amp and subwoofers.
The gauges, including the clock and a Garmin Navigation unit, are hidden where the ashtray once was and is on direct power.
The car runs and drives excellent.
